Blackstone Motors to enhance customer service with CDK

North-east dealer Blackstone Motors has announced a major upgrade to its dealer management system (DMS) as part of plans to enhance the dealer’s high standards of customer service. The Regional Renault and Dacia Dealer for Ireland is upgrading its dealer DMS to the latest Autoline Drive system from leading software solutions provider CDK Global.

Established since 2007, Blackstone Motors is responsible for new vehicle sales, parts, after-sales performance, brand marketing and dealer network standards for the north-east region of Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Cavan. The business prides itself on customer service and has received a number of accolades, including the 2015 SIMI National Franchised Sales Operation of the Year and National Franchised Aftersales Operation of the Year. Most recently, the dealer was voted Irish Dealer of the Year for 2015.

Noel Stewart, Blackstone Motors Managing Director, said, “We aim to provide every customer with a high level of customer service and to deliver a personal approach across both sales and aftersales.

“Ultimately our aim is to help make buying a car an easy and seamless process. To keep up to speed with our sales and aftersales process, it was vital for us to opt for a DMS that could meet our needs, so that’s why we opted to roll-out the Autoline Drive DMS system in our dealership.

“Autoline Drive provides continuity, especially with online interactions between the customer and the dealership. The system records all stages of interaction with the customer, whether it be online, by phone, email or at the dealership. These features will help us provide the customer with a positive and seamless dealer experience.

“For our staff it will provide a host of office applications, including parts inventory, service reception and workshop databases. This will allow us to provide a consistent level of service across all aspects of our business, whether our staff are managing customer requirements from the forecourt or the service bays.”

One key area we focused on when developing the latest Autoline Drive system was to allow the captured customer data to be used effectively.

“For dealerships such as Blackstone Motors, it means they will be able to use data to help deliver a consistent personal customer approach. This will ensure effective marketing solutions for existing customers and also help them find ways of attracting new customers into their dealership.”

Autoline Drive is an innovative system that can help dealerships lower expenses and enhance customer service. The system automatically updates software and can send alerts on data, including reports on purchase order management to warranty parts tracking and management. This helps the user manage, analyse and stay informed on all aspects of the dealership. The system also provides access to a wide-range of CDK-specific training, to further benefit the dealership and its employees.
